So, I've been a xanga member for a long time, but I came across this and I think I like it better. :)

I really, really miss my friends! I'm one of the only ones home this Summer and it's rather lonely. My few friends who are home are working constantly. I'm working to, but only part time. I love my job though. It's great, I really couldn't have asked for much better. It amazes me how things work out. When I got out of school and still hadn't found a job, even after a couple of weeks out of school, I was seriously thinking I wasn't going to find a job. My I didn't get my first choice of a job, and I was pretty upset about it at first. I didn't understand why I wasn't chosen, and to be honest I still don't completely understand other than the fact that I'm supposed to have the job I got. Then after I didn't get that I sent out emails to several churches saying that I'd like to be children's minsitry intern. One of the churches met with me, but couldn't hire. The other, FBCJ, told me to send in my resume but that they didn't have an opening. Well, the very day I had given up and decided that I would just work as basically a maid for my parents all summer, I got a call back from FBCJ letting me know that position was open and they wanted to hire me immediatly without even interviewing me. Then, just a few days later I got a call from the camp I used to work at asking if I could work for a few weeks as a counselor. Crazy. God amazes me. Being the childrens' ministry intern is great! I love it! It seems that often times when we give up and let go, that's when we really see God work in our lives.

As I was saying before, I really miss my friends. I have some of the most amazing friends. This past semester was amazing, especially from Spring Break onward. Here are a few pictures of my amazing friends! I miss y'all so much and I can't wait for next semester!!!
