Back on Track
So overall this has been a pretty good week for me. I've gotten to spend a lot of time with friends, and classes are starting to wrap up. Had my last art history class of the semester yesterday; monday will be my last drawing class; turned in my last marketing article summary things today. It's nice to be wrapping things up. It always feels good when I get things done. It's been great getting to spend time with friends this week. Since the semester is coming to an end, everyone is wanting to spend more time together and I'm all about that. I'm a big fan of spending quality time with people. Tomorrow Erin and I are having a roommie day. We're planning on going shopping and having a Starbucks date. I'm looking forward to it. :) Last night Betsey came to my room with fresh baked cookies and milk. Mmmmm....so good. I spent a lot of time with Lindsay and Laura Leigh on tuesday which was fun. We recorded ourselves dancing to Soulja Boy in the caf bathroom which was pretty funny and a tad embarassing now, but not too much because we weren't actually trying to dance well or anything, we were just way hyped up on caffeine. Went shopping with Lindsay and Alex monday which was fun, but we were in a bit of a rush. Me, Bets, and Alex went to Walmart last night which I found fun even though it was just a trip to Walmart because pretty much anytime I get to spend with my friends is fun to me. I'm a pretty easily pleased person. I just enjoy being with my friends no matter what we do. The company is more important to me than the activity. I'm getting to eat lunch with my little sis in ST today, Betty, so I'm looking forward to that.
I've come to the decision that I think I want to find a job next semester. I've been pretty low on money this semester, so next semester I think I'll try to find a job. I'm not sure where or what type of job yet so suggestions are welcomed.
We had our first Greece meeting last night. I'm so excited about that trip. I don't know what God has in store for me on that trip but I feel like it will be another life changing trip for me like Arlington was. One thing I do know for sure is that I need to be preparing myself better for that trip. I've been slacking lately in my Bible study and just in my general relationship with Christ and that is going to change. I'm getting back on track in a lot of areas right now. We started memorizing Isaiah 55 in my small group that meets on monday mornings, but we never really followed through with it so I've decided that I'm still going to do it even if the rest of my group doesn't. I really feel like I need to start memorizing scripture more. I think that will be one of the best ways to get my focus back where it needs to be. I've also decided that I'm going to try to have a more positive attitude. I feel like I've been somewhat of a negative person lately and that's going to change. If any of my close friends are reading this, please help keep me accountable in this area.
Well, it's about time for me to go meet my little sis for lunch, so have a great day! Btw, I'm trying to keep this updated more often because I enjoy writing and it helps me to put my thoughts into words. :)
