Ready or Not Summer's Here

I'm a freakin senior in college now. That's just plain crazy and I don't want to accept it. Yeah, I know, a lot of people get really excited about being a senior in college...I, however, am not so excited. I mean, in some ways it's exciting because I know God is in control and so it's neat to think what I could be doing after I graduate, but I'm scared because I don't know what I'm doing. I'm also quite attached to my friends. In fact, just being separated from them for the Summer isn't fun. My friendships are important to me, and I don't want to leave all the wonderful people at MC. I love MC. I just want to stay in Clinton...but at the same time i want to go someplace far away overseas. ha Yeah, I'm weird, I know. Basically I just want to take my closest friends with me some place overseas. ha That would be perfect.
So yeah, Summer's here. It snuck up on me quite fast. The end of the year just flies by and before you know it you're having to say bye to all your friends. We'r scattering all over the place this Summer, it's crazy. I leave for Texas on the 25th. I have friends this Summer who are everywhere from Australia, to Georgia, to MS, to NY, to the Philippines, and who knows where else around the U.S. and the world. It's pretty crazy, but pretty cool at the same time. I'm looking forward to being a counselor in TX. I can't believe it's so soon. I'm ready to know what age kids I'll have, where I'll be working, and what team I'll be on. Be praying for me...it will be fun, but exhausting I'm sure.
So Bets and I were bored last night and drove to Alex's house and kidnapped him. Fun times. Alex and I watched Milo and Otis...haven't watched that in forever. "Here comes the dog!" haha There are some funny lines in that movie. We also watched The Great Mouse Detective today. I love watching old Disney movies. They were so much better when we were little kids. By the way, I think fresh, hot, glazed doughnuts will be in heaven. ha On the way to take Alex back home this afternoon we stopped by Krispy Kreme because his mom wanted us to bring her back some doughnuts. Well when we walked in the lady asked if we wanted to try a free hot glazed doughnut...um of course we did! Who would turn that down. Mmmmm so good! I had forgotten just how good fresh, hot, glazed doughnuts taste. Yum! Well, I should really be going to bed now. I'm quite tired because we were up rather late watching movies, and I'm really just rambling now, so goodnight! Keep me and my friends who are traveling this Summer in your prayers!
