So I've been here in Texas since May 25th and I'm loving it. We had a week of work week then a week for orientation and our first term started this past Sunday. I have 8 girls who just finished 5th grade in my cabin, plus my co and I. I have to admit that I was pretty scared/nervous when I found out what cabin I had and that I didn't know my co, but it has been great. Audrey is great and our girls are really sweet. I'm on my Selah right now until 6:30 tonight, which is my 24 hr period off. It's good to get some rest, but I kinda wish it were later in the term. Oh well. Some girls and I went to get dessert at Sonic last night for our friend Morgan's birthday, which was fun, and we've just hung out in Marble Falls and in the counselor lounge today. I'm enjoying just having some time to relax. Camp is a bit overwhelming because there's just a lot of information to take in and remember, especially working ropes, but it's been great so far. I'm definitely being stretched, but it's a good stretching. God is definitely working in me this Summer, and I'm excited to see what He does in me. By the way, I got on the Lonestar team! Our brother team is the Texas Rangers and our opposing teams are the Silver Spurs (girls) and Rough Riders (guys). We won counselor week! 5 BULLETS BABY!! Keep praying for me.
